LEB-I DERYA EVLERI
This residential structure is located in the Barınaklar neighborhood, one of Antalya's historic settlements, formed by the merging of three separate parcels on the first row of cliffs.
Given its position on a significant axis and the fact that it would be a new building, there were important considerations to take into account.
Our goal was to remain within the existing silhouette while simultaneously creating a focal point of attraction.

Planning efforts commenced with the aim of designing a qualified and unique group of buildings within the existing fabric. The façade design of the residential blocks, resolved in three different sizes and layout schemes, prioritizes transparency for maximum views.
To mitigate the effects of sunlight—while also ensuring necessary control—an axial system was employed, featuring a grid formed by vertical and horizontal elements that do not conform to standard modules. This approach incorporates broad eaves, reflecting the distinctive architecture of the region while achieving shaded façades.

An unconventional and unique landscape approach has been adopted, creating independent gardens for each apartment on the ground floor, separated from the communal areas by water features. The plaza, designed with hard surfaces, serves as a gathering space at the center of the three blocks and is further enhanced by two sculptures by artist Emre Karaca.
These three-dimensional artistic objects, when combined with the site's distinctive location and architectural vision, undoubtedly elevate the value and uniqueness of the development.
